Welcome back to the Lighthouse! I’m on a much-needed vacation this week, and while I told myself I’d use some of the time to craft this month’s newsletter…frankly, I just couldn’t. I’m trying to be gentle with myself and remember that that’s okay! As much as I love doing this — the one small piece of Lakeshore Liberation that I’ve kept alive amidst so many challenges and setbacks — I also need to take time off sometimes, even from this. So this month, I’m saving all of the things I was going to share now for November. In the mean time, I’ll be getting back to something I’ve been putting off for far too long: curling up on a rainy day with a good book.
